Meet Gary

Gary found himself on our team shortly after his wife accepted a job at Tallulah Falls School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. For more than 14 years, he was an artist and designer for a regional newspaper group in South Carolina. Sadly, they were preparing to downsize, so it was a well-timed change of pace and scenery. Both he and his wife share a fondness for outdoor adventure, and are quite familiar with the nearby Western North Carolina mountains. Living here has been an easy transition and a blessing. They both enjoy friendly people, bike riding, kayaking, and the beauty of nature and small-town living that surrounds them here.
